In 1991, Smitty’s Towing opened its doors for business, realizing there was a need in the Goleta-Santa Barbara area for a dependable towing company that would assist in the trucking and hard to handle equipment.

The company originated as mainly a heavy duty towing and recovery facility. By 1993, we started branching out into the quickly growing field of light duty towing.

Throughout the years, we were determined to provide the best service possible with clean trucks and well-trained drivers to the motoring public.

 

In 1995, we merged with Abbotts Towing, a premier light duty service in Santa Barbara- Montecito area, helping us to expand our quality services.  In the late 90s we purchased Euglow’s Towing and in 2002 purchased Rob’s Towing developing our services even further.

In 2011, we added a location serving Buellton, Santa Ynez, Los Olivos, Los Alamos, and Solvang with full services in light, medium, and heavy duty towing  including a full inside storage yard.
